Hakim Ditangkap KPK, Citra Pengadilan Semakin Terpuruk

Jakarta - Komisi Yudisial (KY) sudah mendengar kabar penangkapan hakim pengawas Jakarta Pusat oleh KPK. KY menyayangkan masih ada hakim yang terlibat kasus suap.

"Terkait penangkapan hakim oleh KPK, KY sangat prihatin dengan peristiwa tersebut, sebab di tengah berbagai upaya yang telah dilakukan banyak pihak untuk memperbaiki kinerja dan citra dunia peradilan," kata Juru Bicara KY Asep Rahmat Fajar kepada detikcom, Kamis (2/6/2011).

Asep mengatakan, KY mendorong KPK untuk memproses kasus ini sejelas-jelasnya. Adanya oknum hakim yang terlibat kasus suap/korupsi membuat citra pengadilan semakin buruk.

"Masih ada oknum yang melakukan tindakan tercela/tindak pidana seperti itu, yang bisa membuat kepercayaan publik ke dunia pradilan semakin terpuruk," jelasnya.

KPK menangkap seorang hakim pengawas Pengadilan Jakarta Pusat bernama Syarifuddin Rabu (1/6) malam di rumahnya di kompleks kehakiman, Sunter, Jakarta Utara. Selain Syarifuddin, KPK juga menangkap seorang kurator berinisial PW yang diduga menyuap. Duit senilai Rp 250 juta dan 1 mobil Mitsubishi Pajero juga ikut disita.
