KIEV – Striker Timnas Spanyol, Fernando Torres dinobatkan sebagai pencetak gol terbanyak Euro 2012 setelah di laga final melawan Italia dia mencetak satu gol yang membuat koleksi golnya menjadi tiga selama turnamen berlangsung.

Spanyol sendiri berhasil menjadi juara Euro 2012 setelah membantai Timnas Italia dengan skor 4-0. Gol La Furia Roja dicetak David Silva pada menit ke-14, Jordi Alba pada menit ke-41 Fernando Torres pada menit ke-84 dan Juan Mata pada menit ke-88.
