Surat Cinta Mick Jagger Terjual Rp 2,9 Miliar

SURAT cinta yang ditulis oleh rocker gaek Mick Jagger di tahun 1969, terjual di balai lelang Sotheby’s.

Surat ini terjual dengan harga 187.250 pounds atau sekitar Rp 2,9 miliar.

Surat cinta ini dibuat untuk penyanyi Marsha Hunt saat Jagger berada di Australia untuk menyelesaikan proses syuting film Ned Kelly. Walau asmara antara Jagger dan Hunt tidak berujung pada pernikahan, hubungan keduanya membuahkan momongan, Karis Jager Hunt yang lahir pada 4 November 1970. Karis juga tercatat sebagai anak pertama Jagger yang kemudian menikah dengan Bianca De Macias, setahun berikutnya.

Huffington Post melansir, surat ini berhasil dibeli seseorang tak dikenal melalui telepon, Rabu (12/12). Awalnya surat ini ditaksir hanya akan terjual seharga 70.000 – 100.000 pounds.

“Surat ini ditulis oleh pemuda 25 tahun yang puitis, memiliki wawasan luas, dan sangat artistik,” ujar Gabriel Heaton dari balai lelang Sotheby’s.
