Tak Terima Demonoid Ditutup, Anonymous Serang Ukraina

KHIEV - Anggota grup hacking Anonymous menyerang situs resmi milik pemerintah Ukraina. Serangkan yang dilakukan komunitas tersebut menyusul kebijakan pemerintah Ukrain yang menutup tautan (link) BitTorrent dari situs Demonoid.

Anggota Anonymous menggunakan serangan Distributed denial of Services (DDoS) untuk mengganggu situs National Television, Radio Broadcasting Council of Ukraine, dan Agensi Ukraina untuk hak cipta dan anti pembajakan. Demikian dilansir dari T3, Sabtu (11/10/2012).

Sementara itu, Anonymous pun bersumpah untuk membalas dendam ke pemerintah Ukraina yang telah menutup situs Demonoid awal pekan ini. Selain itu, Anonymous juga meluncurkan sebuah video di YouTube. Melalui video tersebut para hactivist memberikan peringatan kepada pemerintah Ukraina atas tidakannya.

Seperti diketahui, penutupan situs Demonoid merupakan langkah dalam kampanye melawan pembajakan. Demonoid tercatat dalam The Notorious Markets List, yang merupakan sebuah dokumen pemerintah Amerika Serikat mengenai pelanggaran hak cipta.
